1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Service (Terms) apply to your access and use of the COOLMED website (the Site) and any enquiry or request you submit via the Site. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Site. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation (for example, a pharmacy, GP practice, clinic, hospital trust, laboratory, university, research institute, or facilities management provider), you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Our services (what COOLMED provides)
COOLMED is a UK supplier of medical-grade refrigeration equipment, including medical refrigerators, vaccine fridges, pharmacy refrigerators, and specialist cold-chain solutions. The Site provides product category information, guidance content, and ways to contact our team in Salford, Greater Manchester (M50 1RE) for quotations and advice.
The Site is intended for business-to-business and institutional procurement. Any information presented on the Site is for general guidance only and is not a substitute for your internal clinical governance, risk assessment, standard operating procedures (SOPs), or manufacturer documentation.
2.1 Scope and limitations
- We can help you select appropriate equipment based on your stated requirements (capacity, door type, alarm functionality, and data logging needs).
- We may discuss delivery and installation options, including next-day options for urgent healthcare needs where available.
- We do not provide clinical advice and we do not control how you store medicines, vaccines, reagents or samples once equipment is installed.
- Final suitability depends on the specific model selected, your installation environment, and your compliance processes, including routine temperature checks and incident procedures.
3. User obligations
You agree to use the Site lawfully and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Site. When submitting an enquiry through our contact methods, you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information.
3.1 Account and identity
The Site may not require an account for basic browsing. If we introduce account functionality, you agree to keep your login details confidential and to maintain one account per person unless otherwise permitted in writing.
3.2 Enquiries and procurement
Quotes and recommendations are based on the information you provide. If critical details change (for example, access constraints, electrical requirements, intended storage materials, or monitoring expectations), you should inform us before ordering. Where applicable, you are responsible for ensuring that your premises can receive and accommodate equipment safely, including door widths, lifts, and safe manual handling.
